Ornamental kale and cabbage are colorful additions to winter containers and flower beds.  Choose white, rose or purple/red or a combination of colors to add a different texture and height to your plantings. 

They take a backseat to pansies and snap dragons during October, but once cool weather arrives, the plants begin to show color.  Once this happens, they are just as showy as pansies and last throughout the winter months.
