Wait! It’s Too Early To Plant Grass Seed!

It’s still too early to plant your warm season grass seed (Bermuda, Centipede, Zoysia).  The ground temperature needs to be 65 degrees at 3 inches below the surface.  This usually happens around the 3rd week of April after we’ve had consistent night temps above 65 degrees.

If you plant the seed too early before the soil warms up the seed will not germinate and grow.
