Perennials are plants that usually die back in the winter and regrow each spring.  Some bloom only in  Spring, others only in Fall and then there are my favorites that bloom throughout the summer.  Their Intense colors will brighten up your flower bed and attract pollinators, hummingbirds and butterflies.
