Crossandra

 

Crossandra, also known as Firecracker Flower, blooms from April till the first freeze when growing outdoors and can also be grown as an indoor plant. The peachy, orange color is a bright spot in your summer plantings and containers but then in the fall can be paired with your fall favorites – mums, crotons and snap dragons.
 

 

This versatile plant grows in full sun outdoors in well-drained soil. When grown indoors give it as much bright light as possible – a sunny window or under a bright light. Water when the soil feels dry.
