‘Bird’s Nest’ Fern

  • Named after the center of the plant resembling a bird’s nest
  • Can be grown in a container or affixed to planks and hung on a wall much like staghorn ferns since it typically grows on tree trunks in the wild
  • Prefers medium to low indirect light and the amount of light will affect how crinkled the leaves are (More Light = More Crinkle, Less Light = Flatter Leaves)
  • Grows well in moist soil, it can dry out slightly before watering
  • Fertilize in spring and summer only with a mild houseplant fertilizer
