Customer Assistance Coordinator

Customer Assistance Coordinator needed to work inside our garden center store.

    • greeting customers in person and on the phone,

 

    • determining the customer’s needs and where to direct them to within our garden center.

 

    • create merchandise displays of pottery, gardening essentials, bird feeders, planters, etc.

 

    • help customers conclude their shopping by checking their purchases out through our POS system.

 

    • working with Microsoft Software (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Ideally, you would coordinate the daily tasks of other inside staff members such as stocking/pricing new merchandise, keeping the store clean and orderly, assisting customers, etc.

The work schedule includes weekends (Sat 8-5, Sun 10-4) you will have 2 consecutive week days off each week.

Gardening knowledge or experience working in a garden center is preferred. Common sense is most important in this position along with the ability to think ahead and be solution focused.
